First, Trego fell to Ellis, 18-24. Robert Clark defeated Allen Augustine. Brandon Schoenthaler and Dustin Zahn received opens, Logan Zahn was defeated by Landon Younger and Tyler Lowry fell to Gage Younger.
Against Atwood, the buffalos outscored Trego, 18-27. Again Schoenthaler received an open, as did Tyler Lowry and Robert Clark. Logan Zahn and Brendan Karnes lost their matches.
At the Colby JV tournament on February 11, two golden eagles medaled.
With a 2-0 record, Karnes took first place, Schoenthaler, 2-1, placed 2nd. Zahn finished the day with a 1-1 record, and Clark finished the tournament with a 1-2 record.
Trego will compete at Lakin for Regionals on February 18.
